Looking for one for a Christmas present for someone.

Some examples could include Paul Duffield's work for Freakangels, the kind of art like "Gone With the Blastwave," Hip flask. Just a big book full of colourful pictures of a world gone terribly weird.

While it's not very big, the art book included in the Fallout 3 collector's edition (or whatever they called it) has some pretty great stuff along those lines. You might be able to find a copy on eBay. You could also just pick up the collector's edition ($70 for 360 and PS3), give away the book and play the game. That's pretty win-win since the game is awesome.

Should have been a rock star.

Could I recommend perhaps a collection of Salvador Dali prints?

It's not exactly what you're looking for (I think), but you could say it was Dali's life goal to make the world weirder, and it shows in his work.

    For instance:This

I think you're gonna have a difficult time finding something that specific. Maybe you could be a little broader?
