got an old pc that i need to have 198meg of ram in to run work software.

in it at the moment is 128meg sd ram

in the store room i found some really old pc. one with a 64meg stick in and one with a 32meg

the look like they are pc100

anyone see any problems putting these in to get it above the magical 198 meg?

It's unlikely to hurt anything. If it's not compatible, it will either not detect the additional RAM or fail to boot until you take it out.

If anything, the bigger stick of memory will have a higher clock speed than the lower ones, and it will slow down to the slowest memory stick.
