HDMI from Computer to TV

So my parents have just got a sweet new laptop with an HDMI socket, and I took my 360's HDMI cable and hooked up the tv to the laptop to watch some movies.

The visual is astonishing, no problem there at all but for some reason the audio comes out of the laptop.

I'm sure this is a relatively common problem, does anyone have a solution?

    you have to change the audio output settings on the laptop from speakers to HDMI

    Yeah thanks, I literally justfigured this out after fooling around in the Control Panel.

    Just one of those blonde moments :lol:
