IE, how many Wii remotes do you need for a full band experience in GH4 or RB2?

    The only peripheral which doesn't require a Wii remote is the microphone - so three remotes are required.

    For either game?

    I think the family is getting RB2 for christmas, and currently has 2 remotes. Does that mean if they want another guitar, they'll also need another remote?

    Rock Band doesn't require any remotes.

    Edit: well I believe you need one for the mic user.
