    I can only respond to that "Eine gute Tate zu vollbringen macht eine Karriere der "unmenschlichen" Taten nicht wieder gut." One good deed doesn't rectify many bad deeds. It's nice to see a war movie portraying Germans as humans (not that it's the first one) but I'm not sure he is exactly a hero. He sent this gem to his wife in a letter from Poland. "Die Bevölkerung ist ein unglaublicher Pöbel, sehr viele Juden und sehr viel Mischvolk. Ein Volk, welches sich nur unter der Knute wohlfühlt. Die Tausenden von Gefangenen werden unserer Landwirtschaft recht gut tun." It pretty much calls the polish an unbelievable rabble and criticizes the land for having many jews and "mixfolk". He goes on to say the captured thousands of prisoners will help the agricultural economy.

    It wasn't actualy meant to be a protest thread, I just wanted to make a laugh, that's all. I'm not seriously mad about the Achewood chats. They're boring, but it's not my biggest problem at all

    The switch in forum software addressed the issue behind limiting threads to 75 pages.

    Basically, threads can be as long as they need/want to be now because it doesn't increase the load on the forum software in any significant way like it used to. Threads are usually limited to less than 100 pages by tradition now.
