Wall-Art

So I'm decorating my new apartment, and because I'm a cheap college student, I'm trying to not spend money.

In lieu of actual art, with like paint and a frame and talent, I want to rasterbate some images up. Rasterbator is a program that sounds dirty and also scales image files up to any size you want, and sets up a PDF file with printing instructions.

My plan for one wall is to separate a cityscape into three images, negative-ize the colors of either two or one, and then glue them to three posterboards of alternating color that I'll then attach to the wall above where my couch is going to go when I actually find one.

Does anyone know of a good city-scape to use?

Also, any other nice suggestions for images that would look awesome when blown up? It helps if they're black and white because my printer sucks, but I'll try anything.

Making them Negative is super tacky and will look ridiculous
thats like putting a bit lens flare on your wall

Maybe some of the wallpapers from here? They have some in pretty high resolutions.

    Awwww

I thought it would look kind of neat just bookending the normal part of it. Damns. Any ideas to replace that one?

    yeah I can't read

Chicago? Interfacelift has some nice cityscape backgrounds. They have a good Tokyo one but it probably wouldn't work well for your idea.

He mentions that in the post; I think he wants an image.
