Can't get any PS2 audio on PCTV HD Pro Stick

The image shows, but I can't get the sound to work. There's only one composite video connection and one S-Video connection. Does anyone have this? If so, were they able to get sound on their games?

not sure if i'm understanding correctly... but if you only have composite video in, and s-video in, why do you expect sound as well?

you need some sort of a sound input.. either composite (RCA type), or optical (if i remember my ps2 correctly)

The only kind of sound input it has 1/8 stereo audio.

    I just wasted my money, didn't I?:(

There are 1/8 stereo to AV cable converters out there. Like this:

It's not pctv that manages the sound. You have to plug your red/white rca cables in your sound card's line-in jack. You do that with a Y-shaped cable thingy (2 female ends that lead to 1 male end).

That's the kind of things you'll find easily in small electronics stores. I don't know where you are but in Canada we have Radioshack/The Source where they sell all kinds of cables and converters, amongst other things.

Just go to such a store and they should be able to give you exactly what you need.

This looks like what I need:

    http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102673&tab=summary
Gold-plated Y-adapter accepts two RCA phono plugs. Fits 1/8" mono phone jack. Plastic housing and shroud. Gold-plating reduces corrosion, substantially reduces signal loss and ensures maximum performance.

    Would it still work though?

Yeah that should work. But you should just walk in a store and ask a clerk, he should be able to confirm exactly which converter you need.
