How to get rid of a MSN virus? (SOLVED)

A friend of mine sent me an url automatically over msn while she was offline. The link is something like "username".xmas-partypics.com. She got it from her sister and clicked on it and gave her msn info, thinking her sister was actually linking to some of their xmas pics.

I told her to change her passwords immediately, but I couldn't find out how to get rid of the virus. She told me she downloaded AVG and ran a scan but nothing was reported.

Help?

Edit: After more searching it seems just changing the password should be fine. Might not be a virus but just a bot using her info to spam others. Thread can be closed.
