Gears of War PC?

Hey guys...so I got Gears of War 2 for Christmas.

I had beaten Gears of War on the Xbox 360 back when it came out.

I also own Gears of War for the PC but it doesn't run that well and I'm kind of too lazy to run through it again unless I really need to.

What I'm asking I guess is whether or not those extra episodes/chapters/missions in the PC version are worth playing through before playing Gears of War 2? Am I going to feel out of the loop? How much content was it, anyway?

If i remeber correctly, there was nothing in the extra content required for the sequel. It only really filled a gap that had been left in the original.
