    Far Cry 2 doesn't look as nice as I thought it would with everything turned up to very high. Fallout 3 looks nicer and runs smoother :|

    I left this icecream out on the bench for like 12 hours. I'm wondering if I should eat it now that its refrozen. It doesn't smell bad.

    It tastes okay.

    ice cream is made by freezing it while shaking it all about. Refrozen ice cream is just frozen ingredients.

    This is pretty much what I do as well, much to my friends' chagrin sometimes. This friend of a friend (art student btw) was over visiting before election day and he was hemming and hawing about the vote and he said something stupid about how both parties were really the same, man and my vision blurred and I am told I went on an epic rant that ended with him promising us to vote for Obama

    arghlegarble I hate that "both parties are BOTH OPPRESSORS" bullshit. They both have their merits and their faults but they are clearly different and opposing and it is not difficult at all to admit that one appeals more to your interests than the other. That party doesn't have to be the one that appeals to you ALL the time, and parties do change, so of course you aren't obligated to swear fucking allegiance to one side or the other but to wash your hands of both and sniff as though they are both the goddamn same is ridiculous and you are ridiculous and shut the fuck up you are not edgy as fuck or otherwise.

    You are lucky to have friends that are receptive enough to not refute your statements with pure asshattery. My friends did the whole "not gonna vote, doesn't count, won't make a difference" thing. The more I tried to talk about it, the stupider they got. I just finally told them they were right, and then I went and voted later because FUCK.

    God, I am getting angry about this all over again. Why the fuck does this "lesser of two evils thing" always come up in elections? WHAT DO YOU THINK VOTING IS!? It's not like you're going to have two candidates and you're gonna be like "I don't know... I think maybe the Democrat is TOO PERFECT this year. I'll vote for the Republican instead. He's just perfect enough."

    Aww shucks, BSG only starts on the 16th. I thought it was right away.

    Oh well, back to pining.

    On Politics: It's amazing how much more you care when elections actually decide who your boss is.

    Ok, maybe that's obvious, but still, the personal impact it had on me made our (Canadian) elections that much more compelling. The whole situation that happened before proroguement even more so. My boss gave me the dirtiest look when I said "hey, at least if we get a new minister, Transition will be fresh in everyone's minds".
