Why does FireFox save random web pages?

Example:
If I were to clear my cache and personal settings completely, and then in the URL bar begin to type forums.penny-arcade.com, it will auto fill the URL bar with a thread that I've seen before, but do not have saved in any form or function.
It does this across multiple computers, but never the same page. It gets embarrassing too, because on my laptop it has decided to save the URL to a porn vid.
A forum I visit is called Forever Doomed. For some reason, when I go to type it in in the URL bar, it immediately pops in this URL.

This thread is 6 months old, so there might be some way to delete your awesome bar results now, but as it stands it's probably better to disable it altogether if you visit 'questionable' sites :winky:
