Xbox Live Help **LOCK PLEASE**

I am using a Netgear wireless router (WGR614 v5), but have my 360 plugged in on the back. Right now, I cannot get Xbox Live to work for longer than 5 or so minutes at a time and sometimes, just when it's plugged in, our laptops can't connect to the network (the connection flickers). Also, whenever I test the connection, it always says "Xbox Live is up and running" and I have another 5 minutes online. It started doing this a few weeks ago, but I didn't have much time to look at the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried connecting the xbox directly into the modem?

    I can't, not enough slots on the modem, I'd have to unplug the router.

    ...it was, or at least, one port was. I just switched the ports that the cable was plugged into on the router and everything worked fine, no problems anywhere. Thanks for the help though, although I feel stupid for asking for help now, if my brain was working right I would have figured it out much sooner.
