Need some DVD/HDTV help

Hey guys,

So I booted up one of the Futurama DVD's on my Xbox360 to see how it would look on my HDTV. The problem I'm having is that its being squished into standard perspective instead of the widescreen its supposed to be, so it looks really weird.


Anyone know whats up? Is it because its not Bluray?

    Do they sell a non-widescreen version of the DVD? Check your box to see if it says widescreen.
    Do other widescreen movies work?

    I figured it out, for whatever reason, I have to force it into widescreen from the TV options. And yeah, they're definitely widescreen.
