Simple enough thread, I've got eight hundred microsoft points left after picking up street fighter hd remix last night. Wondering what XBL Arcade Game I should get. Already have Braid, Sonic 2, Castlevania: SOTN as well. Suggestions, folks?

    I like pretty much everything single player, but I'm not big on puzzles.

    I would go with Geometry Wars. Rez is cool for awhile, but I didn't find it appealing enough to last more than an hour or two.

    Castle Crashers was also cool...and the online didn't even work for me.

    Speaking of, does this game actually let you play with other people yet?

    I might make some friends play through with me if it is working.

    I'll second Rez HD, Geo Wars is pretty awesome too.

    A list: Geo Wars and Castle Crashers.
    B List: Worms, Uno, Kingdom of Keflings

    Some of ths shmups are good on there. I've heard good things about the Bionic Commando remake but I simply cannot bring myself to play a game without a jump button.

    And Brutle, I think they fixed the MP on CC. If you're on tonight we can have a game to test it out.

    Pac-Man: CE is the best 1 player XBLA game out there. N+ is a close second and GeoWars 2 is a close 3rd.

    Seconding N+ as it an absolutely fantastic platformer. Failing that i would suggest either Ikaruga or Geometry wars 2.

    Yeah, Geometry wars: Retro Evolved 2 was the first thing I thought of, but Ikaruga, N+ and Rez are all solid games.

    That said, I can imagine some people not liking Ikaruga, N+ or Rez, but I can't imagine anyone not liking Geometry wars: Retro Evolved 2.

    I fucking hate Rez.

    The only people I could see not liking GeoWars2 are people prone to seizures and godless, fun hating heathens.
