yeah, I can't remember if it's from the first or second. probably the first.
what?
Cool, they're both on Netflix instant watch is why I'm asking.
I'm mad about the fucking fairy tale of radical antitheism. That's what I'm mad about.
I'm calling Riemann a lesbian.
I think he's a guy though.
I guess it was a bad move.
oh awesome, you should do it if you get bored and found that entertaining.
if they ever get the third up there watch that too. I don't know what they cut from the live show but he talked about Die Hard 4 and Bruce Willis for at least 45 minutes. Eye opening and hilarious just like the prince thing.
Radical antitheism has dragons...?
People at college are so fucking dumb.
Yes. Like the one where everyone is better off if religion had never existed for no provable reason.
They are all a good listen in one way or another. My favs are definitely the ones with Walter. No offense to Mosier but Walter + Kevin are hilarious. The one about the flea market is hilarious.

I can imagine firing it will be fun for your hearing :P
That's not a myth, that's a hypothesis. We can't prove which differences in the past would result in which differences in the present. We do know that certain religious beliefs, objects, and locations are used as excuses to do horrible things to people. Abrahamic religions, having a rather nasty basis for their beliefs, and very strong connections to contested locations, not to mention massive numbers, are used as the excuse for a rather immense number of atrocities. While it's quite likely that religious assholes would still be assholes if they didn't have the excuse of their religion, it's fairly natural for someone to assume they are, in fact, assholes for the reasons they claim, and so to wish that excuse did not exist. It's not entirely rational, but it's a pretty normal response when frustrated.
It's like when a kid who is being beaten with a belt tries to hide the belt.
definitely a classic.
shhhhiiiiiit man.
try and enjoy it but you probably won't be able to.
Yeah. I was pretty unhappy to hear about his beliefs.
He's now on that growing list with such fellows as Card, Cruise, and Beck.
Sometimes it's better this way. Isaac Newton was a nutjob. So was Bobby Fischer and Blaise Pascal.
Edit: Also, if it's untestable it's a poor hypothesis.
The sandwich is kicking all kinds of ass so far. I applaud my prescience in hitting the deli counter before going to the bar.
what would you do if Prince WASN'T a nutjob?
yes, that was wise.
and I don't mean smart or a good call, I mean wise. something most people only learn after years of experience.
See: The Prohibition. The reason it began, or so I've heard, is as a response to too many men getting drunk and beating their wives and children.

On the hypothesis: There's only so much shit you can do when pondering alternative histories. So far as we know Stalin was the best thing to happen to the world ever, in the long run.

I'm starting to feel like Charles Bukowski. Really adept at fairly contemptible things.
mmmhmmmmm
normally I'd say you were too old to begin the training but with these sort of ... midichlorian... readings... fuck.
