Yo.
So I see some people around these parts makin' some thredzz about music and such.
This is mine!
One of my favorite bands is
Tera Melos, they are super sweet 8)
These chill ass dudes play guitar and bass respectively, and the guitarist is riiiiiidiculous! I don't think too many people will be into this band, but I certainly am
Their live shows are insane and filled with tons of improvisation!
SWEETNESS BRO
Their old drummer, Vince, was insaaaaaane! But they have a new drummer now who is apparently just as insane as him! Mind blowing 8)
They have about three CDs out: Their 2005
Untitled (or self-titled), which is, in my opinion, a technical-rock masterpiece (MOVE OVER DON CABALLERO LOOOOOL!!!)
After that is
Drugs To The Dear Youth (I think), then
a split CD with "By the End of Tonight"
Their newer stuff has a lot more "pop" sounding guitar parts added to it, and some more vocals, but it still tech as fuck 8) 8) 8) 8)
Just a note: All of these CDs are filled with tons of different, kind of "avant-garde" type of dealies, with electronics and tons of guitar pedals and everything. The thing is though, this band is legit. I am pretty sure they recorded all these songs live, with 0 or very little over-dubs. I mean, how the fuck would you record this otherwise?!
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!
They have a covers album recently released, it is free to listen to and download (if you sign up for this website they put it on)
They released it on a website so that they could get peoples' e-mails in a mailing list for themselves so they could inform people of shows and other neat things 8)

It makes me sad to know I will probably never make a living doing it, ever.

The key to success is to apparently not own a razor
Go for it!
I'll have to check this out.
I don't know many "blues" albums but I know that some stuff by Wes Montgomery is really chill, like the Incredible Jazz Guitar.

I've heard nothing but great things about that album, so I'm definitely getting it. Do you know about her other one though? Because I don't and I'd really like to.
I guess I will see Ben Folds next month
I had the tickets for Broken Social Scene and was ready to go until the weather got in my way. Though I saw Metric a few weeks later soooo...
Metric does a good show from what I hear, I saw Emily Haines and that in guelph with Do Make Say Think. She wasn't with Metric though. I bet it was awesome.
How was Do Make Say Think? A friend saw them and loved them. And yeah, Metric was amazing. They played with The Dears (also amazing) and Tokyo Police Club (actually quite bad).
