Gettin' Warm: Hoodies

So it's getting nice and chilly and I need to invest in a good hoody. My current is a years old Penny-Arcade one that while I love, it's got holes and is basically failing for warmth. So direct me compatriots, where can I get a good quality hoody that is both fashionable and possibly even gamer related?

Well, not really gamer-related, but my wife got me one from J.Crew that's lined with fuzzy fleece. It's super warm and comfy.

And look, it's on sale! http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/MensBrowse/Men_Shop_By_Category/fleece/fleece/PRDOVR~97397/99101542887/97397.jsp

Penny Arcade still sells hoodies, but I figure you would know that considering you've bought one before from them.

    http://www.pennyarcademerch.com/hoodies.html

You could also hit up think geek for gamer-related hoodies.

If decide you don't care so much about having a gamer-related hoodie: H&M hoodies have never let me down, so that's a good bet.

I've never been much for the zip up hoodies, but i'm open to the idea. I was looking at the PA hoodies, but was here for more options basically.

This Guild Wars hoodie (link) is the warmest, best made hoodie I've ever had. It's on sale for very little but I think it's a European store, but if anyone else wants one, I heartily recommend it.

I got an awesome hoodie for Christmas it has some sort of (fake) fur on the inside so it is literally the warmest thing I've ever owned. I can walk around the north of Scotland in December with nothing but a t-shirt underneath it and feel perfectly warm. Cant give you a lot of advice on how to get one though seeing as it was bought in a shop here, so I guess my only advice is if you want something awesomely warm get one with a furry lining. My friend tried it on and she compared it to receiving a hug in hoodie form.

EDIT: Actually following runn1ngmans link that's pretty much what I have get one and you wont regret it.

That Marc Ecko Stormtrooper hoodie might be the coolest thing I've ever seen. And if I got it I'd be the biggest dork in the world.

    And I might not care.

This hoodie from Nike is definitely quality wear and well worth the price. I personally use it for winter cross country practice and ski layering but it's also great for casual wear. Distributes body heat and wicks away moisture really well but, unfortunately, if you live in Canada like me you either need to buy it in the flagship Nike store in Toronto or find another retail alternative due to the fact that Nike does not ship outside the US, and Nike stores are very rare in other countries. Additionally, you could purchase a cheaper alternative from Underarmour, any makes geared towards fitness usage often have excellent insulation and are still great for casual use, though the moisture repelling features definitely appeal to anyone who's planning to sweat in said product.

Edit: By the way, those Star Wars hoodies are the coolest things ever, I'm just afraid of being judged for toting Boba Fett wear.

If you've got money to spend, Wings + Horns makes very warm, very good-looking hoodies.

Any old generic looking hoodie from JC Penny's will serve your getting warm needs well enough. I have a generic grey zippered hoodie that I love because it's super warm and I can wear it to work.

Though the new CTS Hoodie is pretty rad too.

    Big Link

I've been totally sold on these hoodies for a while now, especially as a liner under a north face. They are extra cheep and the thermal lining inside is nice. I know they are zip up, but i used to be against the zip up myself until I started rocking these. Nice metal zippers too. Also only around $20

I got a hoodie for X-mas in 07, it was from Champs.

Its reversible with the standard sweatshirt material on one side (navy blue) and white/off-white thermal (think long-johns) woven material on the inside. From the end of October to the end of March I rarely take it off.
