Windows movie maker problem

went i convert my files to play on my 360 the voice gets messed up, is there an option that is supossed to save space (but at the same time fucks things up) or something? or is it just a shitty converter? im using high settings in the conversion.

if i need another program could someone toss me a link to something free?

    it works fine at first, but the further in the video i go the more and more the voices are off.

    That usually happens when the audio is encoded with VBR. The conversion to the 360 likely assumes it's CBR, rather than auto-detecting it as it goes. Therefore, they end up out of sync.

    I use ffmpegX for doing this on a mac.
