My computer, PS3, and Sprint net access

My internet access comes from a USB device from Sprint. When the device plugs into a computer, it checks if the software is installed from it, does so if needed, and the user can login from there. I can't use it on the PS3 directly (yes, I have tried), so I was wondering if there was a way I can setup this sort of chain to grant my PS3 net access:

Sprint card -> computer -> PS3

That is, having the PS3 hooked up to my computer by some means while the computer is hooked up to the net and sharing that access. I could've sworn a chain like this is possible. But y'know. Don't use the knowledge, and its lost and all that.

For the record I'm working off Windows XP SP3 here.

    Though I wouldn't recommend it. You'll have terrible latency and likely get a huge bill or service cut off for using lots of bandwidth.

    i've used a cellphone wireless card/ ICS for my 360 card before and it didn't add any horrible latency maybe 10-15 ms tops..i did get my service cut off for d/ling over 200 gigs a month two months in a row though =/ unlimited plan my ass. That being said since i believe the ps3 is wireless only you'd need to buy a wireless router, wire your computer into that, then have the router broadcast a signal for the ps3..and it would be a bitch to get a setup like that going without nat issues
