    Why?

    From what I remember she needed to leave to keep her dad safe. So she pretends that she broke up with Edward and in a fit of teenage rage she is leaving the town her dad lives in and going back to her mothers. Her mom still lives in Arizona so she was basically telling her dad that she was packing everything and flying all the way down there. Keep in mind that she tells him all this in about 10 seconds after coming home.

    No good parent would really let their kid fly off on a whim like that, so Bella needed to really hurt him (by saying the same thing her mother said to her dad when she left him) to emotionally blackmail him so that she could leave.

    I dunno it seemed a little harsh to me.

    The one good thing about this movie was Carlisle.

    I dunno why.

    He was pretty cool.
