1999 was a crazy year

Powerpuff Girls, The Dreamcast, Owen Hart died, there was all that Y2K stuff

I personally want to have a dreamcast party on september 9th

but I'm not paying those assholes at ace of cakes a thousand bucks for a dreamcast cake

    but it was awesome! the n64 was still kind of relevant! the internet hadn't blossomed to the point where people would be informing you of their mind numbing lives every five seconds! the simpsons was still cool to like!

    1999 was a cool year but not because of anything good on tv/movies/radio

    mostly it was just when my friends and i were all getting into our groove and hanging out a lot and wasting lots of time on video games and other dumb shit, it was pretty great

    edit: for context i was 16 in 1999 so fuck all you young fuckers, fuck
