because the game in my sig is all about running the country, I thought it only fair to celebrate americas first black president, regardless of your politics, by offering a $24.95 game for $9.95 Thats just for today, because today is a good day for Democracy
Yeah, VAT is basically like sales tax, it applies to pretty much any luxury good.
Although I do find it weird that to buy a game from a British developer in Britain, you get the price quoted in dollars, then it converts to pounds, then adds VAT. I understand why this is of course, but it is an odd scenario.

Anyone other Unitedstatesians find it weird that a UK company is selling a game about running our country?
Also, LewieP: Is there supposed to be VAT on UK products? I thought that was kind of an "import tax."
