This isn't actually true. The weather in England is mostly just not there. It's like when you're playing a game and there's a texture missing it'll just be a flat colour. The weather here is like that. As though the wizards forgot to pick the weather in England for the day so it just defaults to flat grey.

It's 36 today after being 22 yesterday so it's a soggy, slushy mess here.
there's this park here that has a big bear enclosure full of bears
two years ago some jackass kid stuck his hand through the fence and tried to fuck with one of the bears, got bitten, and they had to kill the whole family of adorable black bears

have you ever noticed how virginia has freezing winters and hot summers but a hella short spring
it's that wack-ass climate that makes me so grateful for days like today
2 bear cubs came into my yard this morning and fucked up a bush I had. They came over to it specifically, and started playing on top of it. Wrestling and what not for about 5 or 10 minutes. Once the bush was ruined, they left. They didn't try and get into anything or touch anything else in my yard.

yeah, murr-lands that same way, though maryland is just a teeny tiny bit worse, because it gets just as hot but there's just a smiiidge more wintery weather. I do love the area though, mostly because fall is best. anyone who disagrees is wrong

Yes, it is. It's 40F and sunny right now.
I have put a hat on twice so far this winter. It's not the huge deal everyone was worried about.

Are you asking if your cat is taking a nap versus flung down the curtain and joined the crowd invisible?

I've never seen snow, and I'm striving to keep it that way.

winter is inconvenient
Seriously, it's 65 here, after being in the 20s for the last two weeks. I'm this close to quitting my job and buying a kite.
