Media Player Classic settings?

I have two main problems with Media Player Classic. It seems that for some reason, when I do Fullscreen, either by click the option, or doing alt enter, the viewing window still stays the same for the video, its just surrounded by inches of black screen. I have tried and looked everywhere but I dont know how this was started nor how it can be fixed. The second setting issue I have is that I now have a sound card and a 7.1 surround sound sterio setup. Is there anything I can do to improve the audio settings to get further use out of my 7.1 surround sound or somehow up the audio quality or is that pretty much 'as is'?

Right click, Video Frame, Touch Window From Inside.

Regarding your 7.1 setup, almost all video (outside of DVDs) is stereo, so you won't get much use out of it in MPC.
