Pocket Watches.

Does anyone know anything about them? I'm considering giving one as a gift and I have no idea where to buy or how much money needs to spent on something of quality, i.e. something that doesn't appear to be of cheap construction. Engraving options would be nice as well. There appears to be all kinds of watches and prices on Amazon, leaving me pretty confused. This site looks promising, I guess. I've got no clue where to shop offline for them. Jewelry stores?

Experiences and advice is much appreciated.

i bought my boyfriend a pocketwatch from things remembered, they do engraving too. they are in many malls, or you can order online.

i think it is best to get it in person, you just go in there, pick it out, and they usually tell you to wait an hour for then to engrave it, then you come back and check it out/buy it

all together i think it cost something like $70 and some change, engraving and all.

Most department stores have watch sections directly attached to their jewelery department, so that may be a place to start off looking.
