getting involved with model u.n

the listed websites for my school's mun are all dead or not updated since 06, but im pretty sure we have a team.
my question is how does getting involved generally work, do they hold open sessions that they let people attend and then break into representing a country, or is it some underground meritocracy in the poli sci dept?

    it depends on your school dude, for mine it was underground. ask one of your teachers (probably a political science one) how it works. if you can't find one that knows anything about it, ask the main office. they have a list of all after school activities.
