Also the Shaft trilogy is the best trilogy.

    Top 5 Trilogies:

    Indiana Jones
    Star Wars
    Bring it on
the Vengeance Trilogy (oldboy, mr, lady)
    Bourne trilogy

holy shit there was a sequel to oldboy?

not really direct sequels, but yeah, oldboy was actually the middle movie. sympathy for mr vengeance was the first, and while rough and not as good as oldboy, its still worth watching. sympathy for lady vengeance was the last, and it is awesome. though nothing tops the hammer hallway oldboy scene.

i know its from kevin smith, but i felt like he was trying to do the apatow thing with the cast and humor and pacing and all. it was still good, but there were a few parts that just fell flat for me. also, dang story-wise, how the hell does elizabeth banks keep looking smoking hot despite no heat and no water for showers and no food and hey, spend your money on the bills instead of makeup (she was sooo hot). i liked it, but i expected so much more.

I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid.

I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream.

It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.

while I watch Old Country over and over, I haven't been able to sit through Fargo a second time. It was great the first itme I saw it, but I have no need to see it again. It's quite odd really, as I'll sit through almost anything.
