So I doodle and draw around a lot, I used to be pretty bad at drawing cute small things, but over the last year and a bit I have been drawing mostly cute small things that really have made me happier at drawing than I have been in a while. So I figured why not make a thread to post them in and share some of my favorites

    I think these ones need some work on the anatomy. Which is freakin hard to get right! Where you able to use references?

    I'm guessing you're new to painting in photoshop? painting straight in colour in photoshop is very difficult, especially trying to get it to look believable. Try painting in greyscale for a while, just working on the values and getting 'wood' to look like wood. then once you've got a technique and understand the brushes, then try colour. Also, painting in greyscale is good because you can cheat and apply colours and layers over the top :)

    t winter- yeah, the anatomy on those is off, if i continue work on the ship one i'll tell you guys and maybe get some tips.

    Honestly I am surprised that my bee stinger penis comment didn't get a response.

    I like these, Bel. I think your quicker ones are better than your ones that aren't doodles, mostly for reasons like the dude's foot in that first picture and his face.
