I am no an intern for the New York Times.

That is pretty fucking rad, collective dudes and dudettes.

Paul Krugman writes for them. I will be working for the same newspaper that Paul Krugman works for.

Also, I saw Beirut last night. A+, would do again.

    I found out today that the amount of money I have to pay to re-enroll and get a fancy college degree is like $400 less than I thought it was going to be.

    Not counting the extra five grand from another thing but whatever.

    $900 from now I can get back to school. Plus tuition and books and all that bullshit.

    So yeah this is pretty cool news for me.

    in major cities, "internship" gets slapped on just about anything. certainly there are many companies with proper, good internships that people compete for, but just about advertises internships when they really mean "stuff nobody else in the office feels like doing"

    Yeah, I went to the box office the day they went on sale. It was snowing hard as fuck outside, but I snagged two. The rest sold out in a matter of minutes. The sludgy walk home was not fun at all.

    And no, I won't be editing, thank god. That would probably make the Times look pretty lousy.

    I do fully intend on turning into an alcoholic, world-hating curmudgeon, though.
