So somebody stole my laptop about two months ago, and I had since given up all hope. The police basically weren't doing shit, and I was out of options.

I've been DMing a Star Wars 3.5 type D&D thing for a couple weeks, (if you get the chance to play it, don't), and during that time one of the players has moved into what I could call my circle of friends.

Tonight he calls me into his room like "I gotta talk to you man." and he opens up a suitcase with my laptop in it. Gives it back to me.

The weirdest part is, I have like 10 times more respect for the guy than I did before. Like I'm not angry at all.

Any cool shit happened to you all lately?

    One of the first screenplays I wrote was about a DnD group that happened upon a kilo of coke.

    The figured, "Hell, we can pretend to be orcs and wizards and shit. Why couldn't we pretend to be drug dealers?"

    They end up being wildly successful and, as a result, get in way over their heads. Hijinks ensue.
