Help identifying Gundam figure- THREAD OVER, LOCK PLEASE

Hey everyone, I'd like some help. In 2001, I got a 1 inch tall Gundam figure from a friend. It is mostly olive green, with a blue green on its feet, legs, arms, and head. It has a yellow visor, two yellow slits on its chest, and two red dots on its shoulders. It has a backpack with two guns that go over its shoulders. Its lower legs are pod shaped, and it has 'X's etched into the front and back of its arms and its codpiece. My friend gave a variation of this figure with a shield on its arm to someone else.
I know this seems silly, but I would really like to know the name and series this figure came from.
Without too much to go on I would really need a picture. Is this a United Gundam or a Zeon style Zaku model? Does it not have feet at all (jets for feet) or what?

It has square feet with curved tips. I don't know if it is a United Gundam or a Zeon Zaku. The head isn't completely round, the helmet has a raised line from the front of the head to the back. Same blueish color as the rest of the head.
Federation ones usually look more like people and zaku usually have just the one pink eye in the middle and a rounder head. I assume its Federation because you said it is wearing a yellow visor, or could be a federation gundam that the zeon stole and converted.
At first I thought it was guntank because not many have the two guns over the shoulders, but since you said it has legs/feet that rules out guntank. The coloring reminds me of one of the gundam wing gundams but he had dragons on his gundam and it was a bit fancy.
I'll keep looking any other details would help, maybe any numbers or letters written on it.
OH yeah is this an SD version or regular SD look like regular gundams but the heads are huge and they look like they've been in a press.

No numbers or letters. It's too small to have too much detail on it. Sounds like a Federation one. The guns are greyish black, and tips of them are visible on the bottom of the backpack.
I have never seen one like that. The closest thing to it is that red gun tank. The color scheme and hard ware is a bit different, but I would say by looks alone this is from one of the first gundam series done way back in the day, or it is a fodder gundam (i.e. used by the show to make some special gundam look better).
The only other thing I can think is its some generic robot toy, that isn't really a gundam.

The guy who gave it to me is a Gundam nut. He called it a Mobile Suit, I believe him. Thanks for trying to help, MoSiAc.

I would usually not make this recommendation (for all I know I could be infracted for giving bad advice :P), but you could ask Clawshrimpy. He's pretty close to being a living mecha encyclopedia.
Failing that you could try looking through MAHQ's Gundam section series by series, mech by mech (and variations thereof) until you see a match.

Kind of looks like it if you adjusted the cannon on the shoulder, but the picture is kinda small. If so it's a RGC-83 GM Cannon II.
I could kiss you. I already PMed Clawshrimpy though. What series is it from?
