Beyond Protocol Discount!

Hey guys, I thought some of you might be interested in this newish MMORTS called Beyond Protocol. This game is a real gem. I passed it up back in beta because I thought it looked kind of dumb but I tried it out about a month ago and I am hooked.

www.beyondprotocol.com

They have an unlimited free trial that you can play to get a good idea of what the game is like. I played the tutorial for about an hour before I decided to just purchase a subscription I loved it so much. There is so much you can do in this game it is unbelievable. It blows EvE out of the water, or space, whatever.

You can design new units, components, mine stuff, etc. There is a very intricate Agent system that lets you run spy missions, sabotage, etc. There is a diplomacy system that lets you set people as allies or declare war.

Possibly the coolest part is the Devs and the Galactic Senate. For every planet you own you get 1 vote in the senate. Players propose new game ideas or changes to game mechanics in the senate. Best of all the Devs actually listen and implement the changes.

It's like a mix of good old 4X games like Master of Orion and RTS games along with MMO thrown in. It's insanely fun and at the very least you should try the free trial.

I guess I'm not allowed to post discount codes in the forum so please PM me if you want to get a 20% discount on the game. I just want more people to play. :)

If you do decide to try the game please hit me up in game, my player name is Alastes.

I played this game in beta and unless they made some major improvements since then I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. While I agree the concept was cool, the design interface and basic gameplay both had major flaws, like being completely defenseless while offline, and the designer relying on hidden decimal values for minerals that you couldn't find, requiring you to spend hours in the designer wildly guessing at what to use.

As a completely unrelated question, what kind of referral bonus are you getting?

I loved the concept, but I don't know about the execution. Maybe I'll try that trial.

The game has had a ton of updates since beta, many bug fixes and changes. It is very much fun and playable. Just check out the trial.

As far as what I get from the referral code is just more players to play with. I'm only trying to spread the word.
