Recomend me a PS3 co-op shooter....

My brother has a ps3, my 360 is in hawaii unfortunately, which is another whorish story.

What I am looking for is a PS3 co-op campaign shooter. Preferable horror based but I dont think there is one on the console yet that is Co-Op. I heard CoD's campaign is about 5-8 hours, which seems on the short side.

I am looking for something along the lines of maybe the Halo 2/3 campaign length if possible, if not please suggest me something that i wont feel ripped off about paying $60 for a 3 hour campaign.

I thought I would do a quick topic here as as my knowledge of PS3 games is pretty much limited to Valkyria Chronicles and Little Big Planet.

Help me G&T, you are my only hope.

Resistance 2 is decent. I'd suggest renting it first though to be honest.

If you can wait till March 13th then Resident Evil might fulfill the horror drive in you. Try the demo first though so you know what to expect if you havn't played a RE game before.

Pretty sure Battlefield: Bad Company is coop split screen on PS3, check it out if you have the chance. Good game. EDIT: it's not coop, still a good game though.

Army of Two is good for a mindless co-op shooter.

Rent it though, don't buy it.

Resistance 1 is definatly a good suggestion. Co-op was preaty damn fun on that one. Resistance 2 is difrent in the main campaign is single player only, the Co-op portion can be played splitscreen online but is a set of scenarios that will play out in diffrent ways on 6 huge maps. Preaty fun but diffrent than what it sounds like what your looking for. Both games have a scifi horror feel going on.

I know there are others but imo those are the best on the system.

Is the co-op in resistance 1 the same as the sp campaign?

also, how long is the campaign?

6 to 8 hours, depending on the difficulty you set it to.

Co-op though, I've never actually done a full run on, so you may be able to get through quicker.

Well, Resistance 1, which he is talking about, is only $30 new from Gamestop, so you could probably pick it up for even cheaper online.
