The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It was ridiculously retro looking, like a future car designed in the 50's. The front was still very much slanted, maybe even smoother, than an '08 Corvette, and the rear lights looked more like the front of a '59 Corvette, almost Thunderbird-ish.

'Fuck yeah, me too. What little kid ever pretended to be part of the lynch-mob?'
Here's a link about a Fifth generation to 1962 body kit.
I've also seen people with body kits that'll take a C5 (Fifth Gen Vette) and make it look like a 1953 Vette. Some info on that.
Edit: http://www.crcoachworks.com/ is apparently the company that does it. I've seen a few of the C5 to '53 conversions around Florida Vette and car shows and think they're hideous. The '62 conversion doesn't look so bad, I guess. Silver paint helps it. But what do I know, I've owned two 1977 Corvettes which are pretty much wieners on wheels.
