February continues its 2009 domination.
First we have
Dragon Quest V, for the first time in North America, recreated in beautiful 2D/3D graphics for the
Nintendo DS.
Second we have another fantastic RPG of the Strategic persuasion for
Nintendo DS as Fire Emblem : Shadow Dragon arrives as well.
PC sees the sequel to the very popular
Warhammer game, in Dawn of War II.
The
PSP gets a very interesting NIS game worth looking into; some kind of crazy platformer starring Prinny called
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?
Then we have the
HD consoles, which finally receive the long-anticipated
Street Fighter IV. A return to the series' SFII-like roots with some stylistic 2D fighting in nice cel-shaded graphics.
I suggest checking out the Downloadable services this week too:
Grand Theft Auto IV: the Lost and the Damned should arrive this week for Xbox360 owners.
I also recommend looking into the very quirky, potentially awesome
Noby Noby Boy for PSN.
Finally, the game
Evasive Space for WiiWare comes out, which looks interesting.

Then I'm not not going to ignore both of them to play more TWEWY or Retro Game Challenge. No sir.
Currently playing: GW2 and TSW
Don't expect me to choose.
(This is why it sucks owning both portables)
Anyways, Street Fighter IV, yeah!

I would be getting SF4 for PC as well, but looks like PC players get left out once again. At least for now.
I'm showing May 15, 2009 at gamestop

and May 31, 2009 from amazon
and, strangely, March 17, 2009 at bestbuy

I think it's safe to say that no one has any idea when the XSEED/Marvelous games are being released. Wasn't RGC slated for last November at first?
Apparently, Death Tank is 1200 points ($15). Considering that Worms is 1/3rd of that price, that seems rather overpriced.

I'm not totally sure with RGC, as I don't recall, but I do know that the more niche the developer/publisher/gametype, the more likely that a release date is going to get shoved around or otherwise be unclear.

Yeah but Death Tank also looks awesome. I'm going to have a hard time resisting.
Buying one of those expensive new flashy controllers is putting me off SFIV for the moment.
The GTA IV stuff will have to wait until next week when I'll have time to play it.
And Left4Dead is looking damned tempting at the moment...
Probably Wednesday, but it doesn't hurt to call the closest store to you tomorrow just in case.
I know what you mean, Im getting SF IV + a 130 dollar stick. This is by far the most Ive spent on a game. It better be THAT good. Or I will shoot someone. And if not, (I know it will be) but if not, Ill still have an excellent fuckin stick for all the fighting games I play from here on out. Which is great. That being said. I have RE 5 and Star Ocean 4 all fully reserved from a couple months ago and thats the end of any gaming I plan to do for a good few months. Its just crazy because whenever I think "ok things are settling down." I see whats coming out and no. No they arnt. Things just keep getting worse (or good if you will). Too much shit coming out. I havent beat like 7 games I bought due to this crazyness, and its still going on and continuing until the middle of next month. GOD.
hahah, you'd be surprised how many times I edit the title as I try to squeeze in more stuff. The damn character limit on thread titles! :P
Last week was particularly bad, and so was the Fall glut on a couple of weeks. But usually only ~3 or so important games come out each week and so it's normally not so hard to put highlights of the week in the titles.
I try to get the major games into thread titles so that people can get a good idea of what's coming out at a glance.

So yeah, it's a pretty amazing week.

I said that last year about GTAIV, but then cool stuff came out later on that I wasn't even aware about early in the year.
Regular game + SE stick + TE stick.
Plus I'm also getting the Prinny game.
Street Fighter vs. My Wallet
FIGHT!
Street Fighter Wins! Perfect!
What the hell is Noby Noby Boy, exactly?
also, I've seen some screens of the Prinny game; it's 2D of sorts, but what kind of game is it, really?
Steam ID: slashx000______Twitter: @bill_at_zeboyd______ Facebook: Zeboyd Games
Noby Noby is the new game from the dude that created Katamari. It's game where you're a weird little snake guy and you eat stuff and get larger. And, there's other weird randomness going on.
Prinny is a Disgaea spin-off. It's a classically-styled action platformer, a la Extreme Ghouls and Ghosts. But with penguins.
PSN ID : Xander51 Steam ID : Xander51
I'll probably narrow it down to Fire Emblem and Dawn of War II.
A mate is most likely picking up SFIV and while I want DQV it'll drop in price relatively quickly here so I'll get it in a few months.
Not penguins, prinnies. In Disgaea, they're basically human souls in a generic form to serve out their punishment in the Netherworld.
I dunno about you, but that's a Hell I wouldn't mind going to. Being a Prinny? Fuck yes.
Or anything remotely approaching a decent script.
NNID: Glenn565
Prinnies also explode when thrown. Can't forget that. I wonder how they're able to jump, then..
Also Slash, it's pretty awesome that you do this consistently. Even on weeks when a bunch of awesome stuff comes out and you remind us of that, and we'd more or less not like to be reminded because of the pain it causes our wallets.

All up on Lost & Damned's flaccid penis, though.
