The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
First one is easy; Ninja Gaiden Arcade. Has this been released on any of the home systems, or a place to get it legally?
Second is difficult since I don't know the name. It was an Alien ripoff. You used a gun with a grenade launcher you had to pump to shoot that would launch ice grenades or fire grenades.
Thanks for any help, and sorry for the lack of info on the second.
It's backwards compatible AND you can buy it through the marketplace as an Xbox Original.
And I just picked up a points card. Mwahaha!
Haha, awesome, glad that worked out!
I'm having trouble finding the Alien rip-off (keep running into Aliens: Extermination) but I'll keep looking. I also ran into that new SEGA Rambo shooter, I wanna try that!
This collection has the game, but it doesn't support an actual light gun.
You can get Taito Legends for PC, PS2, or oXbox.
The arcade game technically didn't support a light gun, either. It was one of those gun-as-an-analog-joystick setups where turning and tilting the gun moved the crosshair on the screen.
I believe Space Gun was released for the Sega Master System in Europe. It had light gun support and minus the obvious graphical downgrade was a pretty respectable port.
Concerning Ninja Gaiden, I'm not seeing any love for the Lynx here. Boo, hiss.
Why does this guy presume that since Team Ninja makes the current, console Ninja Gaiden games, that they were the same team that made the older Ninja Gaiden games? That's totally untrue. Team Ninja and Itagaki weren't given the reigns on the series until after the DOA games, back when "Ninja Gaiden" for last gen consoles was originally planned to be a PS2 game, before Itagaki decided to change development over to the oXbox.

I don't own it personally. Sounds like it's there, hope someone else will confirm it.
EDIT - Here's another source (Wikipedia talking about Ninja Gaiden Black):
