Apparently poor Jack of Jack in the Box fastfood fame was hit by a bus. He is currently comatose, but rest assured, one is still able to consume the various food products served at Jack in the Box eateries. Jack would have it no other way.

You may leave your condolences and prayers for Jack in this thread.

Or we can just talk about our favorite fastfood places and the advertising campaigns associated with them. I am sure SE++ would take great interest in the Wopper Virgins that reside amongst these halls.

    It is a little known secret, but it's true. Burger King also makes good tacos. Pollo Loco makes good french fries.

    I have seen two (2) Jack In the Box restaurants in my lifetime.

    Did they change Jack in the Box fries recently? I could have sworn back in the 90's they were more akin to McDonald's and in my opinion much better. I think that was even the basis for one of their marketing slogans.

    Went there recently and now all they have are these stupid curly fries shit, and when you do curly fries you are stepping into Arby's territory, and you really gotta have some balls to do that.

    All in all they were not as good as I remembered.

    curly fries have been at Jack for a long time

    and yes they did change their regular fries to the "natural cut" a few years ago

    Do you dudes have Wendy's in the States?

    Their fries only sit at the end of two absolutes:

    Limp and soggy as a wet noddle or golden, crispy and delicious.

    You never can just get "mediocre Wendy's fries".

    I finally went to Five Guys some time ago.

    It was ok.

    Not as amazing as everyone makes it out to be.

    The fries were not very good.

    I prefer my fries very crispy and these were not.

    I'm just don't like fast food burgers too much.

    Except for Hardee's (Carl's Jr.) Thickburger.

    Five Guys is really the only acceptable alternative to In and Out. At that point it's each persons personal decision but they are both awesome.
