She is basically like if you took that stuff between your toes when you wear socks too long and then you made it an annoying little precocious wunderkind who is an excuse to write really poorly using your mutant power.

So X-Factor is poorly written is what you are saying.

    No. No it's really not.

Poorly drawn for a stretch but poorly written?

it was on a cover so not really

    crossposted from the Bat-thread
so, like, is the new Owlman supposed to be a play on Nite Owl from Watchmen? the new Outsiders not only made reference to Under the Hood, but in the O&O in the back, it shows a bunch of other Owlman costumes and one of them is awfully similar to Nite Owl's

We won't really know until we find out why he's putting on the costume.

I doubt he even knows there's a universe where an evil Batman is wearing an owl outfit, though, and it's even less likely that he considers him worthy of emulation.

I got to go to the shop today!

    X-Factor/GoG
X-Factor was quite amazing. I don't think I could have asked for a better time for Layla to come back into the story. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Guardians of the Galaxy was good too, glad the team dynamic thing is resolved for the most part. I like that Jack Flag is on the team now. Kind of laughed that Reed had no clue who the GoG were.

    Haven't read anything else yet!

A renegade angel has convinced Ketch that the spirits of vengeance are a corrupting influence on their hosts, so Ketch has taken it upon himself to relieve hosts of their burden by killing them, or something.

Know what? My MOTW goes to Mini Marvels in Thor 600.

Thor - Why did it kill Goliath?
Iron - We hadn't worked out all the bugs but I can now guarantee it will never kill Goliath again!

Thor - Goliath was our ally! Our friend!
Iron - I know what ally means.

Random - That means it has no wires
Thor - i know what wireless means

Iron - Zombie Thor, stand down and stop consuming living flesh

I dunno if they're written by the same person but mini marvels are generally pretty hilarious. Mostly because they rip on stuff we know is a bit flawed as is but they're always pretty laugh out loud funny.

Amazing Spider-Man had my MOTW, when
Matt Murdock came in as Parker's lawyer.

Yeah, maybe not so much a shocker, and I should have been expecting it, but I wasn't, so there it was.

    Which also got me thinking--
just what purpose was served by having Iron Fist impersonate Spider-Man?

From my reading, it seemed Iron Fist appeared in the court room that day. He has impersonated Spider-Man before, but this time around, I just didn't see what it was in aid of. To cast doubt that the Spider-Man in the dock isn't the real Spider-Man?

I don't get Marvel Universe law. Between you and me, I think they make it up as they go.

I think the arguement is that since we don'#t know whos behind the mask, you can't really charge THE Spider-Man with the acts of people in the costume.

Also: Why did Matt say that Spider-Man was violating the Registration Act?

I guess I'm not sure exactly how it works, but he registered., and unmasked. He certainly doesn't support the registration act, but he still registered. I thought BND just removed the memory of people knowing who he was, not the fact that he unmasked or whatever.

    It's really confusing me.
