I've been playing Crysis with everything set to very high, and it's been nice and smooth. Right at the end, though (when I got on the boat), it started really lagging. I turned everything down, way down, but that hasn't helped. It's lagging so much that it took about 10 minutes for the task manager to come up, after hitting Ctrl Alt Delete. According to the task manager, Crysis is now trying to use about 3 gig of RAM, which is pushing my usage up to 95% and higher.
I have 4gig of RAM, a 4870, 3 and a bit gigahertz processor, running Vista 64, so at the least I should be able to play it on low settings. Also the latest patch is installed. But even with everything on bottom settings, the lag is only reduced, not stopped. Is this something wrong with my computer or something?
There's a memory leak in Crysis 64bit that shows up on the last level, it will devour your RAM no matter what you do. You just have to play that last level in 32bit mode.

Ah, thanks. I was a bit worried, so I just tried the start again, with everything maxed, and was using about 50% of my RAM, so it's nice to know it's not a hardware fault or anything.
