MacBook Pro color strangeness

I have an early 2008 MBP that has some color issues on the built-in display. It keeps shifting to different color profiles (more warm or more cool) seemingly randomly. When I open the displays control panel, it immediately snaps back to the correct settings. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have another monitor plugged into it, and that monitor is unaffected by this issue.

    This is a Mac OS X bug that’s been around for a couple years, I ran into it when I was still on a G4 Powerbook. I recommend complaining to Apple.
