FiOS connection problems? Assistance requested

Hi everyone.

I have a strange problem that randomly popped up while I was browsing youtube and watching videos. My connection appears to fail at connecting to certain websites / applications but is fine connecting to others (PA included). It seems to be completely random and I have no idea what's going on. While I can connect to a few different websites, I am unable to open any Google related pages (which sucks as I'm usually good at solving my problems utilizing their search engine) nor can I connect to with any applications such as AIM or Trillian.

Basic computer stats:

Vista 64 Ultimate
Verizon FiOS

I know it's not a lot of information to work with (mostly because I don't really have a clue as to what to list). Please feel free to ask if more information is needed. The connection was working fine just 30 minutes ago and randomly decided to block me from accessing half of the internet :(

If it helps, I'm currently looking at my connection properties and I noticed that "Coax (MOCA Multimedia Over Coax)" is listed as Down.
