How much is this going to cost per person? I was looking at prices for SC Village, but I was getting a little confused. There's admission, but there's also paint and gear and stuff, but I don't know how much of that is required or how much we'll use and blah blah blah.

The packages for private groups generally include rental guns and masks and co2/air (though you'll want to be sure and check on a case by case basis). The paintballs they sell at parks tend to be an arm and a leg and suck balls.
We'll get better paint for less if we buy cases before hand. You can get decent paint for around $30 a case, and a case has 2,000 paintballs. Splitting a case between two people generally leaves an okay amount of paint left over, but splitting it between three tends to have people start getting kinda low.
Then again, with a private group I have no idea how much these people will actually shoot their guns and how long they will play for, plus rentals don't shoot that fast so splitting a case three ways would probably be fine.

We would call them let them know. If we had 20 people each person would pay $30 for renting a mask, their gun, co2 all day and admission. ($25 if you bring your own gun and mask like I would.)
Then we just also need to buy paint. Each three people would want to buy one case, costing them $10 a person if we bought it ahead of time.
I guess collecting the money for the paint would take time.
Though when you call you'd want to ask if they include any paint, because they might actually.
