I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
Congratulations, i wish you both a long healthy life with both of you dying within two years of the other. I just hope she is not some form of otaku black widow who is merely marrying you to end up with the half of your stuff she does not already have in her collection before moving on to someone else in a long steam of happy weddings ending under mysterious conditions.
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

Quick anecdote similar to yours. I met my wife in the caf at college. I had bullied one of my friends into playing FFX since he refused to admit that any game was better than FF7 (I'd previously forced him to play FF6, which he grudgingly admitted was maybe 97% as good. Argh) anyway, I was discussing the game with him as he was a couple days in, and she overheard us from a table away and dragged her roommate over to hang out with us.
It's great. She's from Hong Kong, and a few years younger, so I have lots of fun introducing her to shows and games from my childhood, and she introduces me to cool anime that I'd never seen or heard of.
We walked down the aisle to the first part of the Ending Theme from FF8 piano collection.
Long story short, I'm glad you found your girl geek.
Just kidding. Congratulations. My girlfriend and I at first had nothing in common. She didn't play guitar, she didn't do any sports, I didn't watch any dramas or listen to her kind of music. And then we found out we both like to cook and go hiking, and we love doing out doors stuff. She also likes getting massages, and I like giving them, among other things.
We also love cookies.
I think it'll be fun with the both of you cosplaying together.
There will, of course, be wedding pictures galore. I'm heading off to the rehearsal in a few hours but we've got 3 people taking digital pictures in addition to the hordes of old women family members that will, I'm sure, submit us to endless turns in front of disposable cameras.
Also, Tofystedeth, the music we'll be going down the aisle to is Bowie's "Be My Wife" but our first dance is going to be to "Suteki da ne" from FFX. Our families are criticising us for the sadness of the song but it's got sentimental value, you know?
Hell, I'd love for the FF7 victory theme to be played right after the "I do"s but if wishes were fishes, I'd be a successful Japanese businessman.
Thanks again for the support, guys.
You know, there's some nice waltzy music in 8 I believe, as well as in the opera house scene from FF6. Maybe you could sneak one of those in.

Given your Anime background, I'm surprised you're not throwng "I do" from GitS:SAC into the mix.
The rest of you, I fucking hate you for the fact that I now have a blue dot on this god awful thread.

At our reception hall, there was a fireplace mantle where you could place items that were important. Pictures, mementos, etc.
Our wedding had a stuffed Yoshi, a Mario RC kart, the WoW and WoW: BC art books, a Donkey Konga standee (next to the fireplace), a Lunar punching puppet, Escaflowne poster...
It was a big nerdgasm. We almost had the projector outside hooked up to Rock Band, but her parents were already pissed about the direction the wedding was taking - neither of us are religious, but her mother and mom's partner are catholic, so the expectation was a church wedding with priest, standard music, etc. The mantle annoyed the crap out of them, but everyone else told us "yea, the mantle is definitely the two of you!"
So yea.. congratulations to both of you! Hope the day goes great tomorrow... and we expect pictures.

See how many books I've read so far in 2010
Because we better get pics of the wedding.
Or there will be infractions.
Congrats!!
Now now, let's not be hasty.
The man is getting married.
That's like the infraction that keeps on infracting.
... I got nuttin'.
Congratulations HD!
Never forget that sometimes you need to keep grinding and it's much easier to play while a few levels up than a few levels down.

Just try to resist the urge to yell out "Achievement unlocked" at any point during the festivities.
