New Work and a Shop!

Hey guys, I did some new stuff that was pretty quick, lookie:

I've also opened an online shop for prints and some apparel! It's only t-shirts for now but i'm hoping to get more rolling soon!

    I'm confused about the first pic. It looks like he is leaning back on something, and his arm is on it too. But it looks like there is foreshortening. I think his hand should be covered up by that object? Sorry if that is confusing. I like your colors!

    Every time I see "I like your colors" a small piece of me dies as I flash back to classroom critiques when that was all was offered as feedback.

    Im not bashing you Nib just ranting.

    What makes that first image so confusing is that his hand shoundnt be on the counter top thing as well, it should be in front of it. It looks like one of those visual illusion tricks that makes you doubletake.

    Nice environments too. I like your art.

    I'd like to see some stuff with even thicker lines. Not saying it would improve anything, but it might make for an interesting comparison.

    Haha. Last year at uni, the tutor would go through everyones work and when he would get to mine, he'd say, composition can be 'pushed' more, some anatomy issues, perspective is a little 'out'. Other than that, your ideas are 'solid' and NICE COLOURS.

    But it's true nukedan, they are nice colours.

    Just for laughs, please describe what the art instructor would say if they didn't have any filters on their criticisms.

    well, i knew the first illustration wasn't all that great, which is why i backed it up with a tank. :D
