I'm confused about the first pic. It looks like he is leaning back on something, and his arm is on it too. But it looks like there is foreshortening. I think his hand should be covered up by that object? Sorry if that is confusing. I like your colors!

What makes that first image so confusing is that his hand shoundnt be on the counter top thing as well, it should be in front of it. It looks like one of those visual illusion tricks that makes you doubletake.

Haha. Last year at uni, the tutor would go through everyones work and when he would get to mine, he'd say, composition can be 'pushed' more, some anatomy issues, perspective is a little 'out'. Other than that, your ideas are 'solid' and NICE COLOURS.

I'd like to see some stuff with even thicker lines. Not saying it would improve anything, but it might make for an interesting comparison.
