Hi guys,
I've been a longtime lurker, but now i've got an issue I need your assistance with.
I'll try to keep this brief...
Last fall I got my roof redone, after getting a few estimates i decided on a company that offered lifetime warranty on the shingles and labor(25 years).
since then some of the shingles have been flying off, I've called the guy several times and each time he assures me he'll be over soon,( I realize winter weather makes it difficult to repair a roof, but there have been plenty of days where the weather has been warm)
so far he has yet to come over.
now i'm at the point where i,m about to send him a letter stating that the work needs to be done soon or i'll be taking legal action.
here's the problem, i can't find his mailing address.
not on the receipt, nor in the phone book, google searches etc etc
does anyone have a clue how i might be able to get his address, my wife is going to try just calling him and asking for his address, but I suspect his address can't be found for good reason.
all I have is his phone number and business name.
I'm thinking i'm going to have to take this guy to small claims court, but it's going to be tough to deliver court papers with no address.
I live in Canada if that makes a difference.
I may be screwed here, but i appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Did you have a pull a permit for this work? If so, he probably had to register with that body in order to work under their permit.
How'd you get in touch with him originally?
Sorry for the bother, Mods please lock the post.
Haha good luck my man!
