Cleaning the DS Lite

I have a white DS Lite. It's as clean as I can make it, and it has nice screen protectors and whatnot. The trouble is that on the right side, dirt has gotten under the clear outer casing and taken up residence, looking brown and ugly. I can't get it out, because it's under the clear casing. It annoys me no end.

How do people clean these things?

    Oh man, I can't answer your question, but I just got a DS lite white yesterday, and I'm already afraid of it getting dirty. It just looks so pristine right now.

    You mentioned you had screen protectors...Is that a necessary investment for those of us that demand scratch free and dirt free electronics?

    i don't think they are required, but they are definitely handy to have, especially after playing trauma center. my screen would be scratched to hell without them. there's really no reason not to buy them seeing as how they protect your screen from irreperable damage and only cost a few bucks.
