So, who likes Nine Inch Nails, that music thing that dude Trent Reznor does?
Okay, cool.
So, who likes Jane's Addiction, popular alt-rock band of the 90s?
Even cooler.
Who would like to see them together on stage live?
Good because they're touring together this year! Jane's Addition is pulling a reunion thing and going around the country with NIN and playing musics. Oh, also Streetsweeper, a side project of Tom Morello is touring with them, too.
Nope, that's GHOSTS I-IV. He released a number of the tracks for free, but the rest you'd have to pay for. The Slip was sort of a 'Thank You' to fans as he finally got out of his record contract and is now free to do whatever he wants, musically.
Saw NIN on the lights in the sky tour last year. Trent puts on an absolutely amazing show. Hopefully they add some Texas dates to this, I want to see them again so bad.

I need to move somewhere where nin actually tours.
On February 16, 2009, Reznor posted his thoughts about the future of Nine Inch Nails on NIN.com, stating that "I've been thinking for some time now it's time to make NIN disappear for a while." It is unclear when or even if Nine Inch Nails will return after the end of their 2009 tour with Jane's Addiction, although Reznor has stated "We will be back some day, in some form" at a number of recent live performances. He has also stated in an interview that if other paths that he will be pursuing, such as the possible Year Zero television show, don't work out then he'll return to Nine Inch Nails, but if they do lead somewhere, he isn't sure what the future holds.
They'll add more dates probably, also the new Tom Morello band is opening. Which pisses me off because it's some more crap I'll have to sit through before the good band starts playing.
I'll probably still go if they add a New England show because NIN is a fantastic live band.

At any rate that photo makes Janes Addiction look like tools and for all I care they could be the biggest. Like I have no interest at this point.
That would be preferable to this

HUNTER: The Bear Factory in the mall.
I may check that out, I used to like JA and NIN is pretty cool.
Good album, too.
But I like NIN enough to see them again.
That will be like 4 times in the last 2 years!

With the crazy screen/curtain thing they had that they used during the performances. They'd raise/lower it during various songs.
This tour is supposed to scale the light show way back, and be all about the music
they're stopping at the Gorge in May
tempted
couldn't care less about JA, but NIN? yes please
edit: wait is reznor saying that he's breaking up the band? that fucking sucks
