    See, if this kept the ending of the movie then having Grover as Dr. Manhattan would work perfectly for the Monster at the end of the book thing.

    It'd be the best revelation ever.

    I'm trying desperately to think of one, but I haven't read the book in a while

    I keep coming back to Rorschach. Think about it, he can live little papers with cookies on them as his symbol! His mask can shift to different kinds of cookies! When he's looking at the inkblots Long gives him all he'll say is "COOKIE. COOKIE. THIS ONE COOKIE TOO. MMM, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE"

    But since that means Seasame Street characters are allowed, shouldn't Oscar be Rorschach? Or should that still be Gonzo or cookie monster?

    It's tough. Some are perfect for specific roles, and then there are tons of candidates for a role, and then the guy like Rorschach who just kind of defies 1:1 correlation.

    Orikae, don't do a full cast right off the bat. Do some real obvious awesome ones like scenes with Comedian (Fozzy) and Nite Owl (Kermit), and then re-read Watchman and see what you come up with.

    I think it's because some people do work well for a role and are funny, but there's others who make more sense

    Like, Cookie Monster as Rorschach is really funny, but the more I think about it, the more Oscar the Grouch makes sense. Hell, he looks like a hobo, he's really dirty, he hates everyone, people think he's crazy and mean, and he doesn't have any friends except for like, Kermit as Nite Owl, probably because they're both green and as we all know, it's not easy being green
