Pretty self explanatory. My cats got into a tree, and now they're paws do not look so nice, and they don't like how it feels.

Any experience with this?

Any polar solvent should do it. Many soaps, butter/maragrine, maybe some oil? The butter/margarine is something I hear pretty commonly, so I suggest it.

    Lava soap.

You need a particularly effective solvent for that stuff, but the really good stuff is outright stupid to use on a cat.

    So go for lava soap.
