My God people, talk about hyper-moderation!

I have been posting in other areas in the Forums, and today is day one for me and the Cornell posting gets locked down, cripes. There was no mention of the Cornell topic at all here, so I didn't think it would be a big deal to link to feedback I'd already posted out on the web so I wouldn't have to copy-retype-whatever. ANYWAY..

Weiland was great in the beginning of STP, but after the drug probs he never seemed to get his act back together. Even in Velvet Revolver imo you could tell his time had passed.

Cornell is an incredible singer, and I'm "trying" to like his new CD, but it's just such an opposite-end-of-the spectrum type of sound from what made him famous, so I just don't get it. Does he just really like to do top 40 stuff, but has been typecast into metal bc of SG and AS?

As for AS, I didn't think they were disappointing at all. I was expecting them to be the pits bc although I like RATM, their sound was pretty much limited. You can't go very far with a rap lead singer imo. With Chris they really expanded and alot of their tunes were really great, considering that most of the RATM music had the same tempo, theme, lyrics, etc. I thought AS would be around longer than 3 albums, especially after making a groundbreaking move to even play in Cuba! My God if you can experience that together as a group, how can you not be happy working with each other when you get back??

Hopefully this thread doesn't get locked down too. Looks like it was really generating some good discussion. :(

All of my posts are actually ghost written by a team of interns, so it's nice to know that some people still write their own

Next time he can highlight it for you and perhaps have flashing lights around his name. In case you get lost.

Dude, there is a rules thread that is pretty obvious about the fact that it is a rules thread. None of this stuff is out the blue.

But people are actually contributing to the topic in an acceptable manner, so I'm trying again. Note for the record there are no links plugs or personal "look at me's" in this one (except for my sig as I was directed)

    That's Chris Kattan.

Chris Parnell is also on SNL, but is a totally different guy.

Chris Conrell is the guy who did the reasonably catchy theme to Casino Royale.

Your first thread was locked. Outraged, you manage to sit upright for the first time in months and make a duplicate thread with passion and vigor. Sadly, it, too, has just been locked.
